Caring for your firsuit

At times to get rid of da' funk of your own body odor, you'll need to clean your partial once in awhile. It'll keep it clean, fresh and lasting longer. No one wants to hug a Funky furry!

Oh NOES!!!

-Putting your head, in the Dryer!! You'll come out with crap! >XC

-Using your head as a Hackysack!

-Sitting on it!

-If you have markings, going swimming at the beach in your suit! (or swimming period)/taking it out in heavy rain

-Tossing it after you've had a sweaty workout in it.

 - Using Febreeze to make your head clean. Don't do it! Bad person, stop that!

THE YAYS!

-Avoid Alcohol based chemicals on your furs, and when washing, use a fur friendly soap like Woolite

-For your footpaws, Lysol works for the inside of your footpaws, but to control the stink, use a spray deodorant like Axe.

-The head: I use a little rubbing alcohol inside a spritzer bottle to kill any "No rent paying freeloaders" inside my head and let it air out for a few before putting it back on. It Works if you have sneezed in it, also, Nature's Miracle, Stain & Odor remover works very well too!

-Do regular Maintenance checks before wearing it for anything that looks to be wearing down.

-I suggest drying your suit on a line. Some Dryer setting may be funny on the Temperature settings.

-Brushing your Fursuit will make you a happy furry, and it'll help with any matting that forms in the fur. For better results, use a brush like this which you can find at Wal-Mart or any Pet Supplies store. brush with care. If the fursuit has markings, the markings will be pulled out overtime. Faux fur will not grow back so don't over do it with brushing.

-Tails are washable depending on the materials used for it. brush and wash with care!
